“Hi Marc, I have been a member of the SCLA since 2000, first joining out in San Francisco and then transferring to your Boston club. I just wanted to write to you about one of your Group Exercise Instructors, Joanie Lindley. I began taking Joanie’s cardio box class on Tuesday nights over a year and half ago. I have never been so committed to a class or to an instructor as I have been to Joanie. In short, she is an exceptional instructor. Several months ago during class she mentioned that she would be available for duet training. Joanie has gone above and beyond any PERSONAL trainer that I have ever worked with. She has literally changed my body (ok I helped a little). By identifying key areas where I had strength, flexibility and posture issues, I was able to not only see the results in my body but achieve even more success at accomplishing the boxing moves that we do in class and in our sessions. Never in my life have I felt stronger.
I just felt compelled to write you and let you know. I can’t express to you how important she is to your club and to my friend Maggie and me. I know I speak for many in saying this because I have had several conversations with strangers as we walk out of her class to the locker room. I have also convinced a few of my friends to join me on Tuesdays and they too have become hooked. She is the reason I still belong to the club after so many years.
Finally, I also wanted to suggest adding an additional punch and sculpt class to the schedule, preferably at night. As I am sure you noticed, her classes are packed, and I am sure another class of hers would be a welcomed addition.
